Carbon County’s Brush Creek Ranch, seen here, was featured in the latest Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition. Last October, about 15 Sports Illustrated models came to the Platte Valley, where they modeled for photos in various nearby locations and landscapes. The Wyoming Office of Tourism says the feature not only helps Carbon County but the entire state attract more visitors.’

RAWLINS ‘ Every year, the Wyoming Office of Tourism promotes Wyoming in several ways: There is the traditional effort to draw tourists to the state, but there is also a campaign for ‘earned media,’ or the chance to be featured in well-read magazines and media content across the nation.
