Seraphim Capital, a specialist investment group focused on the Space sector, has appointed Jan W’rner, former Director General of the European Space Agency, as Senior Advisor and Member of the firm’s Advisory Board.

W’rner has held a long and distinguished career in the Space sector. He served as the Director General of the European Space Agency (ESA), the highest-ranking official of the ESA, for over five years between 2015 to 2021 and served as Chairman of the ESA Council from 2012 to 2014. W’rner led an ambitious technology strategy for Europe to strengthen its position in an increasingly competitive global market. He championed leveraging commercial technologies to build lower cost and higher performance satellites for communications, earth observation, navigation and science at ESA. Suspect identified in Carson City Wells Fargo bank robbery

On Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at about 4:18 p.m. the Carson City Sheriff’s Office responded to the Wells Fargo Bank located at 1550 East William Street for a reported bank robbery that had just occurred. According to witnesses the suspect approached the bank teller and demanded money.

The suspect took the money from the teller and fled the bank with the stolen money in hand. The suspect was described as having dyed orange hair and wearing a blue winter jacket. No weapons were used or seen during the commission of the bank robbery.
