New show explores if US Air Force ‘hushed up’ UFO sightings in Project Blue Book

Were little green men from outside our solar system really dropping in to visit us in flying saucers in the 50s and 60s?

There were so many UFO sightings during the period that the U.S. Air Force created a top-secret task force to investigate ‘ Project Blue Book ‘ which a new History Channel show is to explore.

Executive producer and writer David O’Leary told a panel at Comic-Con this week, ‘On the subject of UFOs, part of the story is the cover-up, the lying, the misinformation campaign to control public perception.’

In one chilling encounter, Air Force pilots encountered radar blips which seemed to ‘disappear’ every time their planes got near in 1952.
