H&M sent fashion fans into a frenzy by announcing a new collaboration with cult beachwear label lemlem.’

The collection, launching on April 22, will bring the Ethiopian brand’s signature bikinis, swimwear and cover-ups to British shoppers for a fraction of the usual price.

H&M and Lemlem Partner on a Collection that Is Perfect for Outdoor Adventures

Liya Kebede is in New York, ‘enjoying it very much,’ she tells over a video conference call. ‘I’ve been going to restaurants and stuff. I wear my mask, but I’m out. It’s so nice.’

For most of 2020, the model and founder of sustainable fashion label Lemlem has quarantined in Paris, communicating with her teams virtually. She admits that it’s been difficult, but that the job was getting done’and seemingly very well. The proof of her remote work prowess lies in the imminent debut of her largest retail collaboration to date with H&M.

Launching on May 6, Kebede stayed true to Lemlem’s ethos, maintaining a penchant for natural fabrications, fun colors, and easy stripes. The assortment of styles’including a striped maillot that evokes the colors of ocean at sunset, a sultry slip in the same pattern, a linen crop top and a matching paper-bag waist trousers, and a pencil skirts perfectly capture Lemlem’s aesthetic: bright, full of joy, versatile, with an aesthetic nod to Kebede’s homeland of Ethiopia.

Smallville star Kristin Kreuk’s TV series has come to an end

Burden of Truth, the Canadian legal drama led by Smallville star Kristin Kreuk, has come to an end with its fourth season.

The series, which began in 2018 and airs on The CW in the United States, set itself apart from its contemporaries by focusing on institutional racism against indigenous people.

“After four incredible seasons, we’re bringing our Burden of Truth story to its conclusion in tonight’s series finale,” the post read.

“We are so proud of the stories we’ve been able to tell each season, especially those related to social justice.

“We’re also tremendously appreciative of the support we’ve received from our fans worldwide, and are particularly grateful to the communities in Winnipeg and Selkirk, Manitoba, for being so welcoming to our crew… Thank you, The Burden of Truth family.”
